SAG is a non-partisan advocacy group. We are non tribalists, nor do we support any political party. Our mission is strictly to defend Somaliland’s national interests and sovereignty, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the President and the people.
Global Campaigns
Global Media Outreach & The Reality of Statehood
We lead media campaigns to broadcast the “Somaliland Truth” to the world. Our mission is to shift the international narrative by presenting the undeniable facts of our sovereignty: Somaliland maintains its own currency, passports, and defined colonial borders. We are a proven democracy where the last 6 presidents are chosen by the public through a direct vote. Most importantly, we promote the historical truth that Somaliland was never legally part of a union with Somalia. Our independence is a restoration of the sovereign status we held on June 26, 1960.
Global Standards, Security & Diplomatic Accountability
We launch targeted campaigns to elevate Somaliland’s national standards, aligning our policies in health, education, environment, and human rights with international benchmarks. A primary focus is addressing the inconsistency of foreign offices, such as the Turkish consulate, that operate on our soil and benefit from our security while officially opposing our independence. By countering disinformation and demanding policy alignment, we ensure every partner in Somaliland respects the dignity and sovereign status of our people.
